Terry Mapes is the Managing Partner of Lot 4 Development, LLC. Lot 4 is a real estate consulting

firm providing fee development services to small and medium sized businesses in the San

Antonio and surrounding markets. Mr. Mapes has been in the real estate industry for more than

30 years and has extensive experience in construction and land development. Prior to forming

Lot 4, Mr. Mapes was a development director for DeBartolo Development, LLC responsible for

developing a 120 ac. mixed-use property in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to this, Mr. Mapes was

responsible for the development of 60 home improvement centers for Home Depot, Inc. Mr.

Mapes was selected to construct Home Depot’s Midwest Division’s Store Support Center and

training facility and was the Midwest Divisional representative on the national standards

committee. His background further includes tenure with Weingarten Realty, Inc. and Gerald D.

Hines Interests, two nationally recognized development firms, where he managed retail and

industrial construction projects and developed over 1000 ac. of mixed-use land development

projects. Mr. Mapes holds a master’s degree in business from the University of Houston as well

as a degree in construction from Texas A&M University.
